Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Aurelius, a foodstuffs loan service that provides food items on installment plans. By registering or using Aurelius services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Eligibility

To qualify for the Aurelius foodstuff loan, users must:

  • Be a Nigerian citizen or legal resident

  • Be 18 years or older

  • Provide a valid Bank Verification Number (BVN)

  • Provide a National Identification Number (NIN) or other valid ID (Student ID, Voter’s Card, Driver’s License, National ID)

  • Pass eligibility checks including credit behavior and identity verification

  • Pay a non-refundable registration and processing fee

2. Registration

  • One-time registration fee: ₦500

  • Accurate personal and contact information must be provided

  • Users are responsible for account security and must not share login details

3. Processing and Approval

  • Every order requires a ₦1,000 processing fee

  • High-level users pay a ₦3,000 processing fee

  • Eligibility checks will be performed

  • Upon approval, foodstuffs are delivered within 24–48 hours

  • At delivery, the user must:

    • Pay the first installment immediately

    • Take a full head-to-toe photo with the items for verification

4. Loan Packages

Aurelius offers three tiers:

  • Low-Value Tier: ₦10,000 – ₦40,000

  • Mid-Value Tier: ₦40,000 – ₦80,000

  • High-Value Tier: ₦80,000 and above

Assignment is based on:

  • Credit behavior

  • Type of identification

  • Income source (job or business)

  • Repayment history

5. Interest and Repayment Terms

  • Low & Mid Tiers: 10% flat interest

  • High Tier: 5% flat interest

Low & Mid-Value Repayment (30 days):

  • Weekly: 4 equal payments

  • Semi-weekly: 2 payments per week

  • Bi-weekly: 2 payments every two weeks

  • One-time: Full payment upfront

High-Value Repayment (60 days):

  • Weekly: 8 equal payments

  • Semi-weekly: 2 payments per week

  • Bi-weekly: 2 payments every two weeks

  • One-time: Full payment upfront

Repayment starts on the delivery date.
Failure to repay on time may result in:

  • Late fees

  • Reduced future loan eligibility

  • Blacklisting

  • Debt recovery actions

6. Delivery

  • Delivery occurs within 24–48 hours after approval

  • Delays may occur due to logistics; users will be notified accordingly

7. Identification and Verification

  • Users must provide at least two IDs (BVN and NIN)

  • Students: Submit school ID, department, and admission letter

  • Workers: Submit company ID or employment letter

  • Market sellers: Provide proof of trade or shop ownership

8. Privacy

  • All user information is strictly for verification and loan processing

  • Delivery photos are used only for internal security and not shared publicly

9. Suspension and Misuse

Aurelius may suspend or ban users for:

  • Abusive language or threats to staff

  • Creating multiple accounts

  • Providing false information

  • Ordering with no intent to repay

  • Tampering with the system or impersonation

All fees paid by suspended users are forfeited.

10. User Responsibility

  • Users must maintain account security

  • Communicate only via official Aurelius channels

  • Make payments only to verified Aurelius accounts

11. Limitation of Liability

Aurelius is not responsible for:

  • User negligence (e.g., sharing passwords, wrong delivery address)

  • Losses from system or network issues

  • Delays from third-party logistics

Aurelius assumes no monetary liability. All fees (₦500–₦3,000) are non-refundable under any circumstances.

12. No Goods Refund Policy

No refunds after delivery. Replacements are possible after an investigation if necessary.

13. Modifications

Terms may change occasionally. Continued use of the service implies acceptance of updated terms.
