Welcome to Aurelius Ltd, Nigeria’s leading Outright and Installment platform for premium foodstuffs.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Aurelius app, website, and related services.

By using Aurelius, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.


1. Introduction

Aurelius Ltd (“Aurelius”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) provides an innovative marketplace that allows users to purchase foodstuffs either outrightly or through our Installment plan.

We are committed to offering transparency, security, and flexibility to all customers.

Your use of our services implies your full acceptance of these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy and any other guidelines displayed within the platform or website.


2. Eligibility

To register or use Aurelius, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old.

  • Possess a valid government-issued ID for verification.

  • Have a mobile device or computer capable of internet access.

  • Complete sign up form by filling in the basic information — name, email, phone number, State of Origin, LGA, employee status, and password.

  • Complete the account activation process (see Section 3 below).

You represent that all information you provide during registration and activation is true, accurate, and complete.


3. Account Activation

Before you can access the full features of Aurelius, your account must be activated.

Activation Process

  1. Tap on “Activate Account” under your wallet balance.

  2. Choose an activation level — Low, Mid, or High.

  3. Complete your identity verification through our secure KYC partner (Dojah), including facial recognition and ID validation.

  4. Pay a one-time ₦500 activation fee for proper account setup.

  5. Once your verification and payment are successful, your Aurelius Wallet will be automatically created and assigned a unique wallet account number.


Account Access Before Activation

Before activation, users may explore the following sections:

  • Home

  • Category

  • Shop

  • Orders

  • Payment History

  • Support

  • My Profile

  • Outstanding History

  • Food Market

  • Terms & Conditions

  • Referral

However, checkout and payment features will remain restricted until account activation is complete.

If a non-activated user attempts to proceed from the cart or checkout, the following message will appear:

“You need to activate your account to proceed and have full access to our services.”

This ensures that only verified and secure users can process payments within Aurelius.


4. Wallet & Payments

  1. Once activated, users can make purchases through their Aurelius Wallet or via installment payment methods.

  2. All payments made in the app are processed via authorized and secure channels.

  3. The ₦500 activation payment is non-refundable, as it covers verification.

  4. Aurelius is not liable for delays, failed transactions, or network interruptions caused by third-party payment processors or service providers.

  5. Wallet balances are held digitally and are usable only within the Aurelius platform.


5. Orders and Purchases

  1. Products available on Aurelius are strictly foodstuffs sourced, verified, and approved for sale.

  2. Users may buy foodstuffs either outrightly or via the installment.

  3. Prices and availability are subject to change without prior notice.

  4. Aurelius reserves the right to cancel any order found to violate company policy, payment terms, or suspicious transaction activity.


6. Referral Program

Activated users can earn rewards through our Referral Program by inviting others to join Aurelius.

Referral earnings and requirements will be clearly communicated within the Referral section on the user dashboard.

Rewards are credited only after the referred user completes activation and meets the program’s criteria.

Aurelius reserves the right to modify or discontinue the referral program at any time without prior notice.


7. Account Deactivation and Closure

You may close or deactivate your account anytime through the My Profile section.

Upon closure, any wallet balance may be refunded to your verified account within 7 business days, subject to transaction charges.

Aurelius reserves the right to suspend, deactivate, or permanently ban any account found engaging in fraudulent, suspicious, or abusive activities.


8. User Conduct

Users agree not to:

  • Provide false or misleading information.

  • Use Aurelius for illegal or unauthorized purposes.

  • Attempt to manipulate, hack, or interfere with the platform’s systems.

  • Engage in fraudulent referrals or payment reversals.

Violation of these terms may lead to immediate account termination and possible legal action.


9. Data Privacy and Security

Aurelius values your privacy. All personal and financial data are protected under our Privacy Policy and by ensuring compliance with the Nigerian Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) through our trusted partners.

Verification data collected via Dojah or other partners are securely processed and used solely for identification and account safety.

By using Aurelius, you consent to our collection, storage, and processing of your data. This data is strictly used for operating our services, preventing fraud, and enhancing your user experience.


10. Service Modifications

Aurelius may update, modify, or suspend parts of the app or website at any time.

Significant updates that affect your data or access will be communicated on your user dashboard or via your registered email.
We may also add new features or modify existing ones without prior notice.


11. Limitation of Liability

Aurelius Ltd, its affiliates, and partners are not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use or inability to use the platform.

  • Delays or losses caused by internet disruptions or payment gateway failures.

  • Unauthorized access to your account due to weak passwords or device compromise.

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with Aurelius is to discontinue using the service.


12. Intellectual Property

All content, logos, trademarks, and materials on Aurelius are the exclusive property of Aurelius Ltd.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or exploit any part of the app or website without our prior written consent.


13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Nigeria Court.
